Yoga & Clay Yoga and clay complement each other in a beautiful way. Yoga helps us arrive in the body through movement and breath. Working with clay brings the same presence into the hands. Both practices invite focus, curiosity and a slower pace. On Crete, surrounded by sea and Mediterranean nature, this rhythm unfolds naturally. In the morning we move and practice yoga. Later we work with clay, explore shapes and create with our hands. Together these practices open space to slow down, reconnect and enjoy the process. A week to move, create and recharge by the sea.
The Place Phāea Cretan Malia is located on the northern coast of Crete, surrounded by Mediterranean gardens, palm trees and the sea. The resort is known for its relaxed atmosphere and its connection to local culture and craftsmanship. Bungalows open onto green gardens and terraces, allowing you to experience the island’s warm light and landscape throughout the day. Between yoga sessions and clay workshops there will be plenty of time to swim, walk along the beach, rest by the pool or simply enjoy the slower rhythm of island life. Crete is rich in nature, history and food culture — offering endless inspiration for both movement and creativity. The RetreatDuring this week we explore the connection between movement and making. Yoga invites us to arrive in the body, while working with clay allows us to express creativity through our hands. Both practices encourage presence, curiosity and a slower pace. No previous experience in yoga or ceramics is required — all levels are welcome.
